Conference Sessions & Workshop

Expanding our Impact

This year’s administrators conference will take place in Buffalo, New York — November 2-4, 2023 — for current and future educational leaders. The conference will be a series of in-person sessions and roundtables to collaborate, share ideas and discuss.

Conference Overview

Expanding our Impact

This year’s conference will focus particularly on expanding the impact of schools beyond the academy. Architectural educators and practitioners both commonly lament that people outside the discipline or profession do not value the work that we do. Closing the understanding gap requires addressing multiple challenges that tie directly to our prospects for growth and relevance. This year’s Administrators Conference aims to engage these multi-dimensional dilemmas. From reaching into K12 education, to positioning ourselves within the world of STEM, to influencing policymakers at all levels, architecture schools have a number of opportunities for strategic investments.
