ACSA relies on more than 600 volunteers to power our member programs. From our boards to our committees, peer-review panels, and accreditation visitors, we seek architectural educators with a range of experiences to help us lead architectural education and research.

Equity in Service. ACSA strives to make opportunities available to faculty at every level. We encourage volunteers from Black, Indigenous/Native, and People of Color, as well as from individuals teaching at minority serving institutions. We appoint groups that represent a diversity of gender and racial/ethnic backgrounds, as well as geography, institution type, tenure status.
The ACSA invites applications for our inaugural one-year Faculty Fellowship to Advance Equity in Architecture. We seek a faculty member to help extend the impact of ACSA’s work on racial equity and climate action through public programming, outreach, and partnerships.
The JAE and ACSA recognize the critical need to support the scholarship of architectural educators and researchers who face and continue to encounter systemic and structural obstacles, including racism, within academia and beyond.
The Journal of Architectural Education invites applications for at-large positions on the Editorial Board. Every year, the Editorial Board invites a new cohort of Editorial Board Members for a three-year term.
The ACSA Board of Directors seeks candidates for 2023 ACSA representatives on the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) Visiting Team Roster for accreditation visits that will take place between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2027.
Founded in 1912 by 10 charter members, ACSA is an international association of architecture schools preparing future architects, designers, and change agents. Our membership includes all of the accredited professional degree programs in the United States and Canada, as well as international schools and 2- and 4-year programs. Together ACSA schools represent some 7,000 faculty educating more than 40,000 students.
