ACSA Seeks a Programs Intern – Summer 2026
The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) is seeking a remote Programs Intern for Summer 2026 to work across the organization in helping architecture schools succeed. The intern will support work for ACSA’s website, programs, and will also provide administrative support to the organization. The position reports to the Senior Director of Operations and requires an individual that is well-organized and a multi-tasker. A basic knowledge of web design/development and experience with Content Management Systems (WordPress) is preferred. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to explore the intersection of architecture, design, media, and web development.
ABOUT ACSA
ACSA is the voice of architectural education, where we convene and advocate for the field to benefit our members and the built environment. ACSA is an international membership organization representing more than 7,000 architecture faculty. Our members produce a wide range of content, from research, conferences and competitions, and we support their work through programs, events, and digital platforms. Therefore, we are looking for a Summer Intern to work remotely on our websites and programs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Programs Intern, you will engage with multiple programs associated with ACSA’s endeavors, such as conferences and competitions. Your role will involve updating websites, creating online content (graphic and text), and summarizing complex content for broad audiences. Additionally, you may be assigned various tasks to broaden your skill set, including design and website maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Individuals enrolled in a higher education degree program who will have completed at least one semester by the end of June 2026.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote professional office setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills for managing multiple assignments.
- Flexible, responsive, and willing to learn in a virtual environment.
- Experience with WordPress or CMS, and experience with Google Workspace, Excel spreadsheets, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity or experience with architecture, design, and related fields is a plus.
OTHER DETAILS
Schedule
Up to 37.5 hours per week, spanning 6 to 8 weeks between approximately June and August. Candidates do not need to be in the Washington, DC, area. However, if the selected intern is local to our office, you have the option to work on a hybrid basis.
Compensation
The pay range is the equivalent of $18.50–$20.00 per hour based on experience. You will be paid as a 1099 contractor with a defined scope of work and compensation plan outlined in an appointment letter. ACSA will not provide any benefits or remit taxes. ACSA is unable to provide relocation or housing assistance.
Computer
You must have access to your own internet connection and a computer capable of running Adobe Creative Suite and CMS applications. ACSA will provide access to software.
