This paper tracks the master planning and design considerations of sevenarchitectural offices for an expanded city center in Accra, Ghana and thesubsequent transplantation of the design to Cape Coast, Ghana. The proposalincludes the design of a new district with external agency and internal autonomythat anticipates its own transplantation from one city to another as multiplecities vie for the project.
