Planets, Landscapes and Bodies: The Body as Landscape

Since the 1980’s and then throughout the 90’s, and up until now, design fields havebeen feeling the irresistible appeal of the disintegration of the disciplines. Whilethere are a number of causal pressures one can find for this, one aspect has been theprogressive integration of concepts or models of ‘medium’ or ‘media’ within the fabricof concrete things themselves. Things are never only themselves, insofar as they arevehicles or assemblies of/for other things.
