This paper documents research that we began in 2009 into the development of a glassblock facade component filled with PCM (phase change material) in collaboration withthe chemical company BASF. The research has, more recently, included offshoots intoexperimentation with glass fabrication and researching the structural and architecturalpotentials of dry-stacked corbelled structures.
