The public installation Keswa toured theUnited Arab Emirates in the spring of 2015 asthe winner of the Christo and Jeanne-ClaudeAward for public art. The student team wasgiven a $10,000 prize and $5,000 to producetheir winning design with the supportof the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundationand NYU Abu Dhabi. The resulting piecefalls between the typology of the pavilion—favored vehicle for architectural experimentation—and a piece of public art, intendedto elicit changed viewpoints and alteredawareness.
