This Summer: Art, Design & Architecture Exhibitions
Column by Barbara Opar, Syracuse University Libraries, column editor
Exhibition List prepared by Pisey Kim, King+King Architecture Library student assistant and rising junior at Syracuse Architecture.
In keeping with AASL’s interest in offering suggestions for new learning possibilities for ACSA members during the summer, we are sharing a list of current, upcoming and ongoing exhibitions related to architecture. Viewing exhibitions can be a great yet easy way of gaining new knowledge. Many readers are likely visual learners and seeing exhibitions can lead to interesting discoveries. They provide the opportunity to study styles, techniques, and manner of presentation. Reading the text, however brief, can offer up new information.
Look over the list below. We hope you will be able to benefit from the list and these chances.
Founded in 1912 by 10 charter members, ACSA is an international association of architecture schools preparing future architects, designers, and change agents. Our membership includes all of the accredited professional degree programs in the United States and Canada, as well as international schools and 2- and 4-year programs. Together ACSA schools represent some 7,000 faculty educating more than 40,000 students.
