Full Registration Includes

Conference Registration Fees

The following fees are per person. Authors and presenters that plan to attend the conference either in-person or virtually will need to each purchase an individual registration. All Registration Fees are in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Online Registration

Educators, Practitioners, Researchers and Students are all encouraged to attend the conference. If you are already an ACSA member, please log into the website and complete your online registration.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing, no later than July 16, 2025 to qualify for a refund, less a processing fee of $50. Unpaid purchase orders will be billed at the full rate specified in the order unless cancelled before the deadline; Standard cancellation fees will apply.

Audio/Photo/ Video Release

By attending our conference, you acknowledge that you are in a public place and that attendees (including ACSA staff) may capture your image in photos and videos. ACSA encourages event attendees to exercise good judgment and respect the wishes of other attendees who do not wish to be photographed at the events. ACSA uses photos and videos taken at its events for a variety of purposes, including the ACSA website, social media, print and advertising. If you see any photos of yourself on our website or on ACSA’s social media that you would like removed, please contact us at conferences@acsa-arch.org.

GENERAL

What happened to the 2025 ACSA/EAA Teachers Conference?
We were unable to hold the Teachers Conference in Halifax on June 12-14, 2025 in light of the perspectives of the host institution, Dalhousie University. The 2025 Summer Conference: Navigating, is the re-envisioned 2025 ACSA/EAAE Teachers Conference: Conflict : Resolution that will be August 7-8, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. Followed by a virtual sessions on September 11-12, 2025.

I was an accepted author to the Teachers Conference, can I present at the Summer Conference?
Yes, we invite all accepted authors to participate and present at the 2025 Summer Conference.

I am not able to attend the in-person conference or virtually, will my submission still be published?
No, unfortunately you will have to present at either the in-person conference or virtual for your submission to be published in the conference proceedings. 

Are there Continuing Education credits offered for the Conference?
Yes, you can obtain Continuing Education Credits (CES) / Learning Units (LU), including Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) when applicable. Registered conference attendees will be able to submit sessions for Continuing Education Credits (CES). 

How to request for special needs assistance?

How do I register for the Conference?

I am not an ACSA Member, can I still register?
Yes, We have ACSA member rates, non-member rates and also student rates (with a valid student ID).

What is the registration process for-in person and/or virtual attendance?
Anyone that will be attending and or presenting at either the in-person and/or virtual conference will need to register. There is only one fee. 

 I only want to attend the in-person conference?
You will need to register online here. The rate includes both the in-person and virtual conference attendance.

I only want to attend the virtual conference?
You will need to register online here. The rate includes both the virtual and in-person attendance.

Is there a single-day registration?
No, you will need to register for the entire conference.

Is there a special presenter registration rate?
No, All authors, speakers and presenters will need to register and pay to participate in the conference.

Do I have to register for the conference if I am a presenter?
Yes, Accepted authors & presenters must register and pay for the conference if they would like to present and be included in the conference program and proceedings. Accepted research authors are required to register for the conference and present in order to be included in the conference program and proceedings. 

I am a student, how do I register for the conference?
You can see the registration rates online here. Valid student ID is required to receive the student rate. Please email info@acsa-arch.org or call +1-202-785-2324 to register as a student. 

 What is included in my registration?
In-person conference attendees have access to two days of education sessions, Keynote speaker and plenary sessions. In-person coffee breaks & reception and chances to explore Charlotte, NC. Virtual and In-person attendees will have access to virtual sessions on September 11-12, 2025.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations must be received in writing, no later than July 16, 2025 to qualify for a refund, less a processing fee of $50. If an accepted author has to cancel their registration, they will not be able to present at the conference and will not be included in the conference proceedings.

I have co-author(s) or other panelists. Do they have to register to attend?
Yes, if other additional authors or panelists would like to attend and participate, they will need to register and pay for the conference to attend.

Can I register for the Conference On-Site?
Yes, but you will get the best rates online, if you register before July 16, 2025.

How do I get a receipt for my registration?
You can login to your ACSA account and go to “My ACSA” and then “My Account” and find the 2025 Summer Conference and click on the invoice # and from here you will be able to get your invoice. You can also email info@acsa-arch.org for your receipt.

When and Where is the In-person Conference?
The conference will be in-person in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 7-8, 2025. The conference will take place at the Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City.

What airport do I fly into?
The closest airport is Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) Airport.

What is the best way to get to the Dubois Center?
From the airport, it is about a 15 minute taxi/ride share.
From area hotels, it is less than a 15 minute walk if you are staying uptown.

When are the virtual sessions?
The virtual conference will be September 11-12, 2025 and all conference attendees will have access to virtual sessions.

What kind of sessions will be virtual?
Primarily research sessions with a few special sessions. 

What platform will be used for the virtual sessions?
We will be using Zoom and registered attendees will receive access a few days before the virtual sessions.

What health measures/protocols is ACSA taking to ensure a safe environment on-site?
ACSA’s top priority is the health and safety of our event participants. ACSA recommends all attendees stay up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations as recommended by the CDC.  ACSA welcomes attendees that choose to wear masks. ACSA cannot be held liable for COVID-19 cases arising because of event attendance.
