Tenure-Track Assistant Professor

 

Oklahoma State University School of Architecture is accepting applications for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The candidate is expected to instruct design studio courses as well as have a second emphasis. The position is focused upon teaching, however faculty are expected to develop a relevant creative and scholarly agenda.

The School of Architecture offers NAAB and ABET accredited programs with a dedicated faculty working closely to serve a student body of 350. The program combines a strong design-focused curriculum with an emphasis on building systems integration. Collaborative and multi-disciplinary research and scholarship are valued and embraced through the School’s integration of undergraduate programs in architecture and architectural engineering. The position is contingent upon available funding.

Candidates are required to have a professional degree in architecture. Applicants must hold a terminal degree in architecture or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a professional license. Successful candidates must be capable of teaching at the foundations and advanced level design studios, and have a clear research agenda that offers courses contributing to the School of Architecture academic curriculum.
