The School of Architecture has a world-class, research-led and professionally connected learning environment. It embraces new approaches to architectural education and cross-disciplinary research that impact on society and profession.

The School has an ambitious growth plan and is now seeking outstanding candidates to make significant contributions to both diversify its portfolio and support its existing strengths in architectural scholarship. The appointee will drive forward a research agenda related to the School’s strategic areas and develop research collaborations within the wider University and beyond. He/ She will be a key player in the School’s agendas around architecture, cities and environments.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in a subject area relevant to architecture and urbanism. Preference will be given to candidates with a distinguished record of research or practice in the relevant area(s). Excellent track record of studio teaching will be a bonus.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
