University of British Columbia

The School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA) at the University of British Columbia seeks a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor in landscape architecture to begin July 1, 2020.

The position includes teaching design studio, digital design representation and visualization, and courses related to their research agenda.

Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of or demonstrated potential for innovative approaches to teaching and to those able to engage with, and contribute to, the design and interdisciplinary culture of SALA, which includes the programs of architecture, urban design, and environmental design. Joining the faculty at SALA also offers the opportunity to engage with a robust network of professional practice, as well opportunities to connect with other UBC departments and programs, such as urban forestry, regional planning, and geography.
