All three buildings achieved a highlevel of technical sophistication, using systemsnot commonly seen such as geothermal piles,radiant cooled ceilings, phase-change salts anda historic-preservation-compatible solar array.The decision-making process used to developthese unusual applications reveals the importanceof investment in partnering, framing ofcommon goals and the development of “swifttrust”.
