ACSA Announces New Strategic Plan for 2022-2025

ACSA Announces New Strategic Plan for 2022-2025

The ACSA has published revised strategic plan goals and objectives, approved by the Board of Directors at their March 2022 meeting. The plan will guide the organization from 2022-2025, with five goals and 17 objectives.
“The new strategic plan elevates ACSA’s commitment to increase racial equity in architectural education and in the ACSA,” Robert A. González, ACSA’s President, said. “Our Planning Committee built on what we’ve achieved under the 2019 strategic plan and produced a bold agenda to expand access to architectural education and to empower our members to transform their schools to be more equitable and inclusive learning environments.”
The new objectives also sharpened the organization’s focus on climate action by calling out the imperative to promote and disseminate more scholarship that contributes to efforts in architecture and design to mitigate the effects of climate change on local communities.
The strategic plan will influence the organization’s operations for the next three years. A new three-year operating plan based on strategies presented to the board in March is the next step toward implementation.
