Awards Selected by the College of Distinguished Professors
ACSA is pleased to announce the creation of new annual awards for the ACSA Annual Meeting. The awards program, which was initiated by the ACSA College of Distinguished Professors, will promote research, scholarship, and creative excellence by recognizing a Best Paper and Best Project presented at the ACSA Annual Meeting.
Each year a jury of College members will recommend winners and honorable mentions from highly rated submissions resulting from the Annual Meeting’s blind peer-review process. Criteria for selection follow the Annual Meeting review criteria: new and original contributions, thesis clarity, methodology, overall content, and quality of development.
Founded in 1912 by 10 charter members, ACSA is an international association of architecture schools preparing future architects, designers, and change agents. Our full members include all of the accredited professional degree programs in the United States and Canada, as well as international schools and 2- and 4-year programs. Together ACSA schools represent some 7,000 faculty educating more than 40,000 students.
