The ACSA Atlas is a data collection project to examine architectural education and practice across five general statistical contexts—demography, profession (incorporating both education and practice), culture, environment, and economy.
The Atlas will explore several specific data sets within these general contexts, including material that might help us better understand the future demand for architectural education, i.e. the relationship between the current recession, unemployment statistics, enrollment, rates of graduation, K-12 demographic projections, job growth, and application pools.
Below are the first four infographics, designed by Brooklyn-based design firm MGMT, which were presented to the ACSA membership at the 99th ACSA Annual Business Meeting in Montreal.
