Webinar 2: Integrative Design in the Curriculum

ON DEMAND NOW!

Integrative or comprehensive design has long been an important and often controversial aspect of the architecture curriculum. Seen by some as the place where the full array of knowledge and skills come together in a student’s learning, others see it as inordinately broad and too narrowly evaluated by accreditation teams. This webinar brings three schools together to discuss how to succeed in addressing the various aspects of integrative design, which includes research, decision-making, and other factors that architects face in practice.

Moderator:
Michael Monti, ACSA Executive Director

Speakers:
Kenneth S. MacKay, Clinical Associate Professor, University at Buffalo, SUNY
Kevin Stevens, Lecturer, University of Tennessee Knoxville
Matthew G. Trzebiatowski, Professor of Architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright School of architecture
