DESCRIPTION   Miami S is a soccer stadium project which located in Miami, Florida.  The site is currently a park facing to the ocean which called Museum Park.  It is very close to AmericanAirlines Arena stadium which is the home court for Miami HEAT.  There is a new museum being constructed in the north part of the site.  The new museum is separated into two individual buildings which have a second-floor plaza in between them.  And there is a metro station right beside the entrance of this plaza.

The design conception of Miami S is to create a stadium which is not only a destination of the city, but also a bond for the city which will connect different sections in the city.  In order to encourage people to use public transportation, we extend the plaza of the museum and connected it with the north entrance of Miami S which is a main access for the people who take the metro to the site.  And in the south side of Miami S, there is a historical shipyard in between Arena stadium and our site.  We create a bridge path starts from the north plaza which connects the Arena site and Miami S site.  This is urban pedestrian path in between the metro station and Arena stadium which makes Miami S not only a lonely destination but an important component of the city.

The design concept of the shape of Miami S is to create a flowing feel that is match with the urban context and the site stratagem.  The structure system of the roof is special truss that covered with metal panels which is totally separated from the main structure.  It is self-supported by three points on the ground.
