The College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology invites applications for
a full-time, tenure-track appointment.
All areas of expertise are welcome. Candidates should demonstrate leadership in topics central to contemporary landscape architecture, urbanism, and architecture as theposition will entail teaching across all of the College’s degree programs, ranging from undergraduate to graduate to Ph.D. The successful candidate will be an active participant in, and provide academic service and leadership to, the Master of Landscape Architecture + Urbanism Program and the College of Architecture.
Candidates are required to have a professional degree in Landscape Architecture (B.L.A. or M.L.A.). The ideal candidate would also hold qualifications in Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, and/or similar disciplines and would qualify for advanced tenure-track status.
In addition to their areas of specialization, all candidates should demonstrate an ability to contribute to the intellectual life of a studio-focused school of architecture. We will expect active participation in the College and the University through student advising, design reviews, committee service, curricular development, and contributions to College publications and events.
