Summer Studio Visiting Critic
May 20-June 26, 2019
The School of Architecture at UNC Charlotte seeks applications to teach a graduate architecture design studio this summer in Charlotte, NC. The building topic is open. Studio proposals may be a competition studio, material fabrication studio, urban housing studio, workplace studio, environmental technology studio, healthy living studio, community-based studio, design build studio or some combination thereof that serves the M.Arch. program. A part-time teaching assistant and local travel funding included. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to be an enthusiastic, creative and effective design studio teacher. Evidence of emerging and peer-reviewed design research, published design work and scholarship, design awards, and/or design practice is required. A professional degree in Architecture is required (M.Arch. and/or B.Arch. + post-professional graduate degree in architecture or related field).
The SoA is committed to a culturally and intellectually diverse environment.
