2020 DPACSA Annual Meeting Best Paper/Project Award

ACSA is pleased to announce the creation of new annual awards for the ACSA Annual Meeting. The awards program, which was initiated by the ACSA College of Distinguished Professors, will promote research, scholarship, and creative excellence by recognizing a Best Paper and Best Project presented at the ACSA Annual Meeting.

2020 COTE Top Ten for Students

The American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment (AIA COTE), in partnership with the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA), have selected the recipients of the 2020 AIA COTE Top Ten for Students Competition. The competition recognizes ten exceptional studio projects that demonstrate designs moving towards carbon-neutral operation through creative and innovative integration of design strategies such as daylighting, passive heating and cooling, materials, water, energy generation, and sustainable systems.

Mark your calendars for the ACSA108 Virtual Conference that will take place June 15 through June 19, 2020. The ACSA108 Virtual Conference will bring together architecture and design educators and students to discuss and explore a broad range of scholarly and creative activities. During these five days of peer-reviewed and Special Focus Sessions, all registered conference attendees will be able to interact live through Zoom and obtain Continuing Education Credits, including Health, Safety and Welfare credits.

The ACSA109 Annual Meeting invites submissions of paper abstract, projects and special sessions. The conference will bring together architecture, design educators and students to discuss and explore a broad range of scholarly and creative activities. The ACSA Annual Meeting aims to hold a conference that is inclusive, transparent, with an impactful program that elevates, addresses, and disseminates knowledge on pressing concerns in society through the agency of architecture and allied disciplines.
